Simon “SiFi” Fishburn is an Australian performing artist and educator now residing in New York City. Before relocating to New York City in 2012, he drummed for renowned Australian artists such as Andy Firth, Craig Calhoun and the Brothers of Oz, Kevin Hunt, Adrian Cunningham, Andrew Oh and Melinda ‘Mindy’ Jackson. He also played and recorded for major label artists such as Tania Bowra, Roger Frampton, Anita Spring, and Ben Fields.

In New York, Simon’s accomplishments have ranged from high-end event bands, to backing Broadway and TV actors such as Billy Lewis Jr. and Samantha Marie Ware (from the TV show ‘Glee’), and James T. Lane (Broadway’s Chicago and Kiss Me, Kate!). He has had the honor of sharing the stage with world class musicians such as Richie Cannata (Billy Joel), Lee Hogans (Prince, Jay-Z, The Jonas Brothers) and Kevin Hunter (Shania Twain, Janet Jackson).

He continues to be in demand in New York City playing with Erin Maya and The Reckoning, Daisy Jopling, Soapbox Army, Adrian Cunningham Funktet, Lukka, ADM Talent (a high-end, corporate band agency), and his own electro-pop/funk band SiFi, who are just about to have their debut single ‘Calling Out Your Name’ licensed through NBC/Universal International, in episode 9 “Rainbow Warriors” of the Netflix Original TV Series ‘Tales of the City’. Their second single ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, was digitally released through Infinity Gritty/Ropeadope Records.
